Hi, I am Mirela, a maker of things.
You may be wondering what this is. Well, it’s a person who makes things. A creative Swiss tool of sorts. A multidisciplinary specialist, if you prefer the more professional term.
I humbly believe that talent comes in more than one form to any person, and in my creative and professional journey, I have learned to embrace that fact. Therefore, I am passionate about drawing, design, photography, video editing, printmaking, layout, and even stitching. My ideas come in all shapes and sizes, and although my process may seem illogical or crazy to some, I deliver professional results.

Over the years, this mix of interests has taken me through branding, digital design, art direction and creative management. Each step has taught me something about how visuals shape the way people understand ideas. Whatever the format: print, web, campaign or product, my goal is the same: design that communicates clearly and feels intentional.
My work blends illustration, concept and typography into solutions that feel crafted rather than assembled. I pay attention to the small things: how a typeface changes the mood, how composition guides the eye, how colour can make something instantly memorable.
I don’t like to limit myself to one path. I make things in whatever form they demand and I enjoy every stage of turning an idea into something real.
How I work
I begin by exploring the core of the project: its audience, mood, and message. From there, I develop concepts, sketch directions, refine palettes and layouts, and iterate until the design not only looks good, but solves the problem it’s meant to solve.
Everything I deliver is prepared for both print and digital, with attention to detail, consistency, and scalability.
My goal is simple: to create a design that is recognisable, functional, and emotionally resonant.
A few things behind my work
I hold a Master’s degree in Illustration & Printmaking from New Bulgarian University and have over 10 years of experience across graphic design, visual communication, and creative direction.
Alongside client and commercial projects, I continue to develop my illustration and branding practice, which helps me balance creativity with strategic thinking and clear communication.
