Hi, I am Mirela.
I’m a photographer based in Sofia, Bulgaria, driven by heavy atmospheres and the pursuit of a reaction.
My journey started in 2016 in the chaotic world of concert photography, learning to catch crazy movement under unpredictable lights. That naturally pushed me toward experimental, editorial, and studio work. In the studio, I can fully control the atmosphere, shape the environment exactly how I feel and bring imagination to life.
My visual language can be described as dark, cinematic, and bold. I believe powerful photography exists to provoke a reaction, whether that is awe or discomfort. I’m not afraid of the gritty or the unconventional; if an image makes you react, it stays with you.
Today, my focus is on editorial, studio portraiture, and band concepts, working with individuals and brands who want to leave a mark.
